Cirencester Primary School

Mrs E Bowden - I completed my PGCE at the University of Gloucestershire, following a BSc in Physical Geography. After a few years of working in various settings in Cheltenham and Evesham, I joined the staff of Cirencester Infant School and then following the amalgamation of the Infants and Junior Schools, I continued at the new Cirencester Primary School. Since starting here, I have married and now have a family of my own.

My Geography background is still important to me and I enjoy travelling; seeing new places and finding out about different cultures, as well as spending time outside; walking, gardening, building dens and splashing in puddles. When I am not busy at school or with my girls, I love to be curled up with a book, reading. I think reading is hugely important and try to pass this passion on to the children I work with in school.

Mrs A Pritlove - I first started working at Cirencester Primary School back in 2009, when it operated as an Infant School. Since our amalgamation with the neighbouring juniors, I have seen the school go from strength to strength and am proud to be a part of it’s success.

I completed my teacher training at the University of Gloucestershire. However, the bright lights of London beckoned and I spent the first three years of my career working in an inner city school in Redbridge. Working in such a diverse multicultural setting provided me with the unique opportunity to learn just as much from the children as they did from me.

I am passionate that the children I teach have a culture of lifelong learning embedded into their very being. The most rewarding thing about my job is the immeasurable impact a teacher can have on the lives of young people. Therefore, I constantly strive to be a role model that cultivates curiosity in children and instils a belief that they can and will achieve their very best.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my young family. You may often catch me riding the bumpy slides in MagicLand! I am also a keen runner and have completed two half marathons.

Mrs A Bonner-Curtis - I'm a Mum of two and both of my children have been to this school. I have been working with children since I qualified as an NNEB over 20 years ago. I started at Cirencester Primary in 2011, working as a 1:1 and now I'm a Class TA. Over the years I have worked with most year groups and have really enjoyed watching the children grow as they move up through the school.
