Miss C Black - I have been teaching at Cirencester Primary School for 3 years now. When I first arrived at the school I loved how friendly and welcoming all of the staff, children and parents were. Although I have only taught in Year 5 while I have been at the school, through school council I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a range of children across the school. I am passionate about school council being a success, as I believe that the children should be the driving force behind changes and improvements in school. I look forward to continuing to work with the new school council team this year.
In my spare time I enjoy walking and running. Although I may not appear it, I enjoy being outside enjoying the lovely views that Britain has to offer (although not when it is raining!) and getting some much needed fresh air. I also enjoy reading and I hope that this love of reading is noticed by the children at school and encourages them to explore and love reading as well.
Mrs S Crouch - I started working at Cirencester Junior School as a Midday Supervisor in 1993 and now also work in Year 5 as a Teaching Assistant.I very much enjoy my time in school, it’s a pleasure to still be here for the next generation as I now help the children of former pupils from my Junior School days.
Mrs J Messenger - I started at school as a lunchtime supervisor over 10 years ago. I then became a one to one support TA before becoming a class TA.
I love my job seeing the children grow and learn. Every day is rewarding when you see a smile. I am a mum of 3 grown lads all have attended the school at some point. In my spare time I run a LIFE Skills group for young adults with learning disabilities. I am also a trustee of the Swindon Downs Syndrome Group. I was part of the group when we received the Queens award for voluntary service, MBE for charity workers. I also received an Excellence Award from Wiltshire Fire Service for my work with the LIFE Skills group. I also co-run a football group for people with Downs Syndrome with Swindon Town FC. There's never a dull moment in my life.
