Welcome to Year 1- Ireland Class
Miss G Mercier - I have been a teacher at Cirencester Primary School since January 2015. I attended the University of East Anglia, reading a degree in International Development. My passion lies within the development sector, particularly the social and economic development of countries. With this in mind, I taught in Indonesia in 2012 and Zambia in 2014.
Combining this passion with primary teaching made Cirencester Primary School the best place to begin my teaching career. As an internationally minded school, CPS immediately drew me in. Since being part of the school I have also been fortunate enough to teach in Ghana.
At CPS I thoroughly enjoy applying my international experiences within the classes that I teach, providing the children with a rich and exciting glimpse of the world that we live in. My other hobbies include photography, travel and using technology. I currently lead the subject of computing at CPS, a role that I enjoy and that encompasses many of my interests!
Mrs M Smith - I am married with 2 children, both have attended Cirencester Primary School. I joined the staff in 2011, starting as a Midday Supervisor before helping with Forest School and I am now a class Teaching Assistant. I enjoy my role working with the children, seeing them prosper gives me a great sense of achievement.
I feel I am a warm and caring person and I have made some lovely friendships along the way whilst working here, with staff and pupils.
Mrs G Park -
