Buds & Blossoms
Our Nursery is divided into two classes: Buds and Blossoms.
Buds welcomes children aged between 2–3 years and accepts children from the day after their second birthday. Buds Class is often your child’s first time being independent of a parent or carer, so we aim to create an intimate and homely feel where our children can feel safe and secure as they learn through play. Our experienced staff nurture and support your child to build positive relationships and discover their interests and unique qualities.
Blossoms accepts children aged 3-4 years and children can join in the academic year after they turn three years old. In Blossoms Class, the staff care for and provide play activities to encourage children to grow in confidence, independence and develop physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually following the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Their interests are further developed, and they are challenged to question and explore their environment.
In the mornings, both classes retain their independence regarding age-related activities and differentiated teaching and, in the afternoons, the classes join for physical development or expressive arts and design activities.
The Nursery children also benefit from engaging in whole-school activities, such as discos, plays and sports events.
