Our wonderful Forest School area includes an indoor classroom, storytelling area, camp fire, mud kitchen and a variety of materials and areas for den building and forest fun. 

Forest School is used on a daily basis as part of our lunchtime provision, with all pupils from Year 1-6 having access to this area. Nursery and Reception children enjoy this area regularly during class sessions with their teachers. We also run Forest School club as part of our extra-curricular after-school club provision. 

Classes also enjoy additional sessions in Forest School where they take part in activities such as cooking on the campfire, searching for missing fossils, acting out plays on the stage, telling stories in the storytelling area and den building to develop team work. 

Our PE and Sports specialist teacher, Mrs Champion, is currently completing her Forest School Leader training and already utilises this area during her outdoor learning sessions with every year group.
