Trips and visitors

As well as our progressive, diverse curriculum, we feel that it is very important to broaden the horizon of our pupils by exposing them to rich and varied experiences, such as trips to museums, theatrical performances, learning musical instruments, and exposure to diverse perspectives.

To compliment our curriculum, we ensure that visitors and trips are frequent and purposeful in furthering pupils' learning. Examples of trips that pupils enjoy as part of our two-year rolling curriculum are Warwick Castle, Chedworth Roman Villa, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Corinium Museum, Young Voices music event, Y6 residential, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Oxford Natural History Museum and opera workshops at Rencombe School.

Examples of visitors to school include Roaming Reptiles, Space Dome, Bubbleworks science company, fire engine, author visits and Royal Ballet workshops.
