Pupil achievements

Here at Cirencester Primary we are extremely proud of the achievements of all our pupils. In order to celebrate these achievements, we hold a Celebration Assembly each week where we present the following awards:

  • Class Dojo Champion – This is given to two pupils in each class who have worked hard that week and displayed a school 'Cirencester Code'.
  • A Values Certificate – A child from each class is given a Values certificate for displaying our school values of being 'Positive, Respectful and Caring'.
  • Class Dojo bronze, silver and gold certificates are awarded to pupils who have received 50, 100 and 200 dojo points respectively.
  • TT Rockstars – We announce the pupils in each year group who have made the most improvement in their accuracy on our maths platform.
  • Reading Certificates – Children achieve certificates for reading certain amounts of words on our reading platform Accelerated Reader.
  • VIP Top Table – A child from each class is chosen to eat at our special VIP lunch table for displaying polite manners at lunchtime.
  • House points – We share the results of House Points for the week and announce which house has received the most dojos.

In addition to these weekly awards, the following aspects of school life are also celebrated:

  • Sports awards – Mrs Champion, our specialist PE teacher, awards sports certificates each term to two pupils in each class who have stood out for showing our school values during their PE lessons.
  • House points – At the end of each half-term, we announce the house who has achieved the most dojo points over the whole term. This total encompasses weekly totals as well as points earned from special events during the term such as competitions and house events.
  • Outside achievements – Each month, pupils have the opportunity to share achievements from outside school in class council meetings. Classes then select two pupils from each class to share these achievements with the whole school in our monthly 'outside achievements' assembly.

All photographs of our winners will be available on our class stories on our parental communication platform Class Dojo.
