Nursery Staff
Within our setting we have consistent, reliable, highly qualified staff who care for your children.
Cirencester Primary School Nursery is committed to developing all their staff to always give parents and their children a quality childcare service.
We have a thorough recruitment policy whereby all staff are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). We also seek two references for all new staff members, including the most recent employer.
We ensure that all our staff are regularly updated with paediatric first aid and child protection training.

In 2006, after 5 years of teaching in several different schools in Gloucestershire, I was offered the role of Reception Class Teacher at Cirencester Infant School. At the time, I thought I would only be here for 1 or 2 years, due to the long commute from Gloucester, but nearly 2 decades later I’m still here!
Throughout my time at CPS, I have taught in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. For 9 years I was the EYFS and Key Stage 1 Lead, returning to class teacher after starting
a family of my own.
In 2023 I returned to EYFS to teach the Pre-School children in Nursery. Although I thoroughly enjoyed teaching in Key Stage One, the Early Years was where my love for teaching began. I feel so lucky to come to school every day and teach these wonderful, enthusiastic, caring and funny little children. Everyday is an adventure!
With nearly 20 years of experience in early years education, I am deeply passionate about laying the foundations for children's learning and development. I am a proud mother to four beautiful daughters, which has only further enhanced my understanding of the joys and challenges of nurturing young minds.
I take great pride in the positive impact I have on each child's educational journey, knowing that the early years are crucial in shaping their futures. It's incredibly rewarding to know that my influence can help spark a love for learning and contribute to their growth as confident, curious individuals.
