Behaviour stages
In response to feedback from pupils at Cirencester Primary School, we have recently created a system where staff responses to positive and less positive behaviour are consistent and considered fair by pupils. Pupils and staff have contributed to developing the following stage approach, which is regularly being reviewed and is still evolving due to feedback from pupils, staff and parents.
This is a whole school approach. However, we acknowledge that some pupils have specific, identified additional needs, which means that they may require a slightly adapted approach which will be discussed with parents. This does not mean that these pupils do not receive appropriate consequences for behaviour which does not meet our values of being 'Positive, Respectful and Caring.'
