Governors

Have you ever considered becoming a Governor of CPS ? The Governing Board currently has several vacancies for Governors and would be delighted to welcome new members. This is an opportunity to get to know the running of the school better and to influence its future direction. So if you are a parent or a relative of a child or perhaps you have friends who may be interested please get in touch with the school and the Chair will contact you to have a chat. The Governors would welcome representatives from all year groups and would like to see a Governing Board that truly reflects the diversity of the children at the school.

What does a school governor do?

Governors are volunteers who are responsible for overseeing the management side of a school: strategy, policy, budgeting and staffing. They enable their school to run as effectively as possible, working alongside senior leaders and supporting teachers to provide excellent education to all children.

How to apply for job vacancies

In line with Safer Recruitment,  all job applications must be made with a fully completed school application form. CVs are not accepted. (scroll down to download the application form)   

Covering letters will not be seen by the shortlisting panel, so please include all relevant information in your application form.
