What an amazing trip! Despite the challenging weather, Y6 had a wonderful week in Normandy - they threw themselves into every activity they were faced with (from kayaking, high-wires, archery and night-line to the excitement of the caramel factory and the emotion of the D-Day landing beaches and cemetery) and totally surprised us with their spirit. We saw fantastic moments of courage, determination, humour, respect and friendship. They were an absolute pleasure to look after for the week; I hope you feel as proud of this group of young people as we do.
