March 2022: Nature Quiz Success!!!!!!

We are delighted to announce that Cirencester Primary won this week's Nature Quiz, organised by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, by a very comfortable margin. With a whopping 32 points, they beat both Stratton (25 points) and Powell's (22 points). Congratulations Charlie A, Esme, Florence and Daniel for a tremendously confident performance. We will now move on to the next round against schools in the wider region.

A great time was had singing along to current popular rock songs before creating an on-the-spot band to perform 'We will rock you!'.

November 2021: Football Tournament

How proud we were of both our teams (and our four points scorers) who showed tremendous determination playing all afternoon against some very talented opposition from other local schools. A special congratulations to the red team who achieved 4th place, only just missing out on a medal.

October 2021: Congratulations to our Y6 silver award winning Cross Country Team!!! (including a first place for Isla) What an achievement - we are SO proud of you all!

October 2021: SchoolBeat visit

Today, Y6 were visited by PC Davies who spoke to us about the importance of internet safety and the expectations of mature behaviour if we are using apps with an age guidance above our own. This is very relevant to us in Y6 currently and we all now know how vital it is to remember to be respectful with our language and behaviour at all times, whether online or in person. We were also reminded that all our online actions make up our digital footprint which has the potential of being with us forever. We should never post anything online which we would feel ashamed for others to see later.

September 2021: Welcome to Year 6!

We loved meeting our new Year 6 cohort back in July. They listened so carefully to the expectatons of the year ahead and worked hard to be their very best from the outset. We loved reading their letters and learning all about each child's interests, friends and family. What a kind, polite, interesting and motivated group of young people; we just can't wait to get underway with this year's learning. Their behaviour has been impeccable and parents should be feeling very proud. Keep it up Year 6!
